Moose acquire Delmas, MacDonald

The Halifax Mooseheads made a few deals today before the QMJHL trading deadline at 1pm Atlantic Time.  

The Mooseheads added veteran goalie Peter Delmas from the Quebec Remparts in exchange for a 2011 6th Round Draft pick.  Delmas, is a 2nd Round pick of the Colorado Avalanche, 61st overall, in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft.  He is 15-9 with a 3.15 goals against average in 27 games with the Remparts this season.  Peter is a native of Bedford.

The Mooseheads sent 18-yr old Guillaume Pelletier to the PEI Rocket in exchange for 17yr old Bradley MacDonald of Dartmouth.  Pelletier recorded 1 assist in 29 games with the Mooseheads this season.  MacDonald, is a speedy left winger, who was drafted in the 2nd Round 30th overall by the Gatineau Olympiques in the 2008 QMJHL Entry Draft. 

With the trade period now over, the Mooseheads are set up with a good collection of high draft picks heading into the QMJHL Entry draft in June.  The Moose currently hold 5 picks in the top 40 draft spots (1st, 3-2nds, and a 3rd).
