Andrews Scores Late as Moose get Big Win

Brent Andrews is often at his best when his team is shorthanded.  That was evident again Friday night in Saint John as the Murray River PEI native scored on a shorthanded breakaway to give the Moose a 4-3 come from behind win over the Sea Dogs.  Andrews, who led the QMJHL in shorthanded goals last year, capitalized on a Saint John miscue and went five-hole on Sebastien Auger, who was outstanding all night in the Sea Dogs net.  The Moose outshot the Dogs 47-34.

Also scoring for the Moose was Jonathan Drouin, who added an assist and was named the game's 1st star.  Marty Frk and Andrew Ryan also tallied for the Herd. Chris Clarke picked up his first win as a Moosehead in goal, making 31 saves in a solid outing.  Both teams ended the game with a 5 on 5 melee that will set the tone for Saturday night's rematch in Moose Country.
