The Mooseheads suffered their first loss of the pre-season tonight in Bouctouche to the Moncton Wildcats.

The Wildcats, who dressed the majority of their veterans, controlled the play from start to finish and never trailed in the contest.  Brandon Pye, with his first of the pre-season, was the lone Moosehead to get on on the board.  Chris Clarke (14/16) and Brad Fraser (15/18) split the game in goal.  The Wildcats outshot the Moose 34-19. The loss drops the Mooseheads to 2-1 in the pre-season.

The two teams will play again Saturday night in Wolfville at Acadia Alumni Arena at 7pm.  Tickets are available at the Acadia Alumni Arena Box Office.
