Drouin takes Q's 1st Star Honors
Jonathan Drouin, Mikhail Grigorenko and Carl Hojzan were named today the TELUS three stars of the week for the period spanning September 20th to the 23rd. Drouin was also named the CHL Player of the Week.
The Halifax Mooseheads forward Jonathan Drouin gets the first star of the week. In two games, he kicked off the 2012-2013 season with 7 points including 2 goals and a +/- of +6. Friday, Drouin registered 7 out of the 45 shots against the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles, completing his first game with 2 points (1+1). He also earned the 2nd star of the game as the Mooseheads won 4-3 in overtime. In an 8-1 win against the PEI Rocket on Sunday, Drouin managed to collect a total of 5 points (1+4), an amount previously tallied by Jakub Voracek during a road game back in October of 2007.
The Mooseheads would like to congratulate Jonathan on this acheivement.
