Cole Harbour Bel-Ayr Minor Hockey wins 2012 Great Mooseheads Jersey Race
The Halifax Mooseheads announced this morning that Cole Harbour Bel-Ayr Minor Hockey Association is the winner of the 2012 Great Mooseheads Jersey Race. As a result, the Mooseheads will be wearing Cole Harbour Wings jerseys on Monday, March 12th when they host the PEI Rocket at 7pm.
Cole Harbour Bel-Ayr Minor Hockey Association, who finished 2nd in the Great Jersey Race to the Dartmouth Minor Hockey Association in 2011, narrowly edged Sackville Minor Hockey for this year’s title. Over 100 minor hockey teams across the Province participated in Great Mooseheads Jersey Race.
“It’s going to be neat to put on the Cole Harbour jersey, the jersey I grew up wearing, one more time” stated Mooseheads rookie Nathan MacKinnon. “It’s going to be a lot of fun.”
